Welcome To Trinity & St Michael’s Church Of England & Methodist School

Our Christian distinctiveness and associated Values provide the platform for our ambitions and achievements and we strive to ensure that all our school family – pupils, staff, parents, governors and voluntary helpers, feel valued. It is through this shared commitment and determination that our school achieves such high standards and is consequently increasingly attracting pupils from outside our immediate catchment area.

In an era of continued significant educational change, it has become more important than ever to ensure that as a school we have the confidence to interpret our own context and remain true to our own priorities and values. We pride ourselves in providing an excellent academic education, but also in guiding the children to develop their spirituality, self-esteem, strong moral principles, discover their talents and appreciate those of others.

In order to achieve the above it is vital that staff have the expertise and drive to ensure that all children are able to reach their potential. We are particularly proud of our staff team and their breadth of talent. We have an effective balance of staff working together to be exemplary and inspirational role models.

Our accommodation and facilities are in many respects beyond those typically expected of a primary school and extend opportunities for staff to provide lively and creative teaching and learning and also an exceptional range of enrichment activities.

For more detailed information with regard to our provision and practice please see our school prospectus and the Vision and Values section on this site. These provide an overview of our ethos, policies and procedures, so that you are able to make an informed decision with regard to your choice of school. Schools vary considerably in their priorities and approaches and it is, of course, vital that you make the right choice according to the specific needs of your child.

We host an open evening in the Autumn Term to provide an opportunity for parents and pre-school pupils to view our accommodation and meet with pupils and staff. We would also be delighted to welcome you for an additional visit, during the day, so that you can ‘feel’ what makes our school so special.

If you would like to arrange a visit, or find out more about our school, please email bursar@croston-pri.lancs.sch.uk, or telephone (01772) 600379.

We seek to provide the very best nurturing and learning opportunities for our pupils and would be delighted should you wish to become a part of our school family.

With best wishes,

Claire Procter
